Rich "MR POS" Wilkins was born in 1946 in Detroit,
Michigan. He was the product of a broken home and learned very
quickly how to survive in a negative world. In 1969 he graduated
from college and was recruited into the military and landed his
first corporate job with a telephone company in 1971. Fifteen
months later the company was acquired by a larger entity and
he was "downsized." He then entered the sales field
with a Pharma- ceutical company and four years later took a job
with a medical equipment company selling disposable products
and capital equipment on commission. After being in the field
for five years selling he was promoted into sales management
for another five years.
As a sales manager he was promoted to Director of Sales Training
and trained hundreds of sales people over the next three years.
In 1988 the name "MR POS"
was born and he started his professional speaking career as a
speaker, trainer and consultant. Today Rich "MR POS"
Wilkins has conducted over 1500 paid presentations and has spoken
to hundreds of companies, government agencies and network marketing
groups. He speaks to audiences as small as 30 people to as large
as 15,000 people as a keynote speaker. He also conducts workshops
in conjunction with his keynote speeches at conferences and company
meetings. Because of his past experiences, "MR
POS" is comfortable and skilled at working with people
at all levels in any organization and in any department or industry
to improve productivity, profitability and teamwork.
