T REATING TASKS
AS OPPORTUNITIES
By Rich "MR POS" Wilkins Whenever you look at a glass half filled with water do you see it as half empty or half full? Do you see your life filled with problems or opportunities? Or do you see your problems as hidden opportunities? When you get on a POSitive path in life you begin to understand that there is no difference between tasks and opportunities because when you develop a POSitive (faith) attitude, you turn all of your tasks into opportunities to grow. Because of the natural law that says, "opposites attract," for every negative (problem) there is a POSitive (opportunity). The Bible teaches us that through obedience and faith there are opportunities in the adversities we find in life. Christ provided an excellent example of this as He hung on the cross for us. To the Apostles this must have been a tremendous adversity, but look at the opportunity we now have to be forgiven for our sins. Also, through Christ we can experience God's incredible love as well as His wisdom. With this in mind, continue to see your future tasks as opportunities to grow. Paul relates this to us very well in Ephesians 5:15-16 as he says, "Be very careful then how you live, not as unwise but wise making the most of every opportunity. . ."
